And God was sorry He had created humans.

BUT there was one human that He was not sorry about, Noah.

And Noah built a big boat, saved the animals and his family by trusting against all logic that there was going to be something called rain fall to the earth, water from above and water from below would flood the whole earth.

BUT Noah would be safe, God would start over. The Rainbow? It is a reminder and a promise that God would never flood the entire earth again.

Jesus came to fulfill that promise, for humans are so very evil, they break the heart of God.

The promise from Jesus? Believing in Him brings everlasting LIFE, not death. Not believing, you end up in everlasting torment, separated from God and eternal LIVING where there is no pain, no sorrow, no dying. A new heaven and a new earth.

A fairy tale? A myth shared by many ancient civilizations – this flood of which I tell…is one way to get our attention. The wires in the foreground of the picture? Our creative answer to darkness and power, our answer. God is light, in Him there is no darkness at all, that’s why He is the way, the truth and the life.
